How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Last updated October 20, 2026
This section explains how OpenCharts handles mobile phone numbers and text messages. It supplements the Privacy Notice below; where the two differ, this section controls for text messaging.
We collect a mobile number when you give it to us — for example, to receive account notifications or to text your Theo Agent workers — and when an OpenCharts user gives us your number so we can send you an invitation, a reminder, or a request on their behalf. With the number, we keep the messages we send and receive, their delivery status, and whether you have opted out.
We use mobile numbers only to send the messages you asked for or that an OpenCharts user asked us to send you, to respond when you reply, to honor opt-out requests, and to prevent abuse. We do not use mobile numbers for marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile numbers and message content only with the service providers that help us run our text messaging — the providers that deliver our texts and, when you text a Theo Agent worker, the AI providers that write its replies — and only for that purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
If an OpenCharts user sends you a voice-recording request by text, we keep your full number only until that request is finished — delivered, declined, cancelled, withdrawn, or removed — and after that only a masked form, such as the last four digits. Opt-out records are kept so that you aren't texted again. Other message records are kept as described in “How long do we keep your information?” below.
Reply STOP to any text from us to stop receiving texts from that number, or reply HELP for help. You can also email privacy@opencharts.com with questions about how we handle your number.
