Terms of Service

The terms and conditions governing your use of OpenCharts.

Last updated October 20, 2026

SMS terms

These terms cover the text messages (SMS) OpenCharts sends from its own phone numbers. They supplement the Terms of Service below; if anything there conflicts with them, including its “SMS Text Messaging” section, these SMS terms control.

What we text

  • Account and service messages, and conversations with your Theo Agent workers, when you give us your number and opt in.
  • Messages an OpenCharts user asks us to send you: an event invitation from Theo Designs, a reminder about an event a firm scheduled with you in Theo Law, a request to record your voice in Director Mode, or a message from their Theo Agent worker. A voice-recording request comes with no more than three reminders, sent at least a day apart.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping texts and getting help

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from that number. END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, and STOPALL also work. You may receive one message confirming your opt-out; after that, we won't text you from that number unless you reply START.

Reply HELP for help, or email hello@opencharts.com.

When you have OpenCharts text someone

When you send an invitation, reminder, or request by text, or have your Theo Agent worker text someone, you confirm that the person knows you're contacting them and has agreed to receive that message from you through OpenCharts. You may not use these features for marketing, to text someone who hasn't agreed, or for anything our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits. We may limit or turn off texting for an account that misuses it.

If you choose to text a link from your own phone instead, that message comes from you, not from OpenCharts, and your own carrier's terms apply.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle mobile numbers, in its “Text messages (SMS)” section.
